I feel bad for waiting as long as I did to begin with but when I called them I was just over two months and I was excited to get an ultrasound because I applied for Medicaid and got denied .. I waited three weeks and when I showed up for the appointment, they said they tried to call and tell me it was canceled.. now I'm over three months pregnant have not had an ultrasound yet because I can't get Medicaid due to an irresponsible employer who hasn't turned in my wage form paperwork for months I've applied for Medicaid multiple times ... they told me to wait two more weeks for the next appointment but by then I will be four months along .. I was trying to avoid a big hospital bill or doctor bill and also the discomforts of going to an er in a pandemic ... but you are better off just going to a hospital if you need an ultrasound .. i feel like a terrible person waiting for so long to ask for help in the first place or just instead of going to a hospital in the first place, waiting it out ...I think that if they know that you are going to keep the baby (like in my case) they don't really want to help you

I love this place and how they serve the women and children in our community!! They give out diapers, wipes, baby clothes, and more! They also offer confidental counseling! We also have a brick in the memorial garden to remember the baby we lost which played a big part in helping us heal.

This is an amazing organization that blesses women that choose life. I unfortunately did not choose life when I was pregnant at 16 years old. The NFLO has given me a place to heal and find freedom from that choice. I've been able to place a brick in the memorial garden in honor of the baby I aborted and the miscarriage at had in 2007. I love the NFLO and all that they do.
