It's a place for food, clothing, and shelter. Follow the rules, and don't make too many mistakes. They don't give you a second chance if you are put out. I was put out for missing curfew, I don't believe it was fair considering I was on the property in the parking lot conversing with a church member that had given me a ride home from a church event we attended that evening. I thought it was unfair, and wasn't given an chance to explain. Also prior there was a misunderstanding about the curefew times, given that I often had church events to attend. I had given the dates and times of the events to the leader of the place. So I'm not entirely sure why there was so much confusion or lack of consideration. My advice to the staff be consistent and communicate more effectively and do not be so hasty to judge a matter before looking into it. Also God is a God of forgiveness, if a person was non-violent and had no drug related discharge, you should consider giving them an 2nd opportunity for help and change. We are only human and make many mistakes daily, for a Christian church organization it is not very Christ like to have a no return policy, what if God had the same for you? I'm not saying to accept all returns but at least be willing to interview the woman to see if she is suitable for a 2nd chance. Christ has given us the grace to repent, for by grace we are saved Ephesians 2:4-5 if you are a Christian church organization, shouldn't your policies refelct the spirit of Christ?

Worst place ever for dv survivor. They don't help at all advocatesare suppose to advocate. Advocates are a joke. Staff deny your children food and make you Stay in room if you cough one time. They did not even offer to make them anything. Was made to sleep on floor. ???
Staff have sheds full of donations but would rather throw them out then hand them out. Have donations of brand new back backs but was told to ask school? I'm confused ?? I thought donations are for us "real" dv survivors.!! Mold in windows took pictures and ventilation system never been cleaned out. They need an inspection and staff need proper training. !!!
I'm guessing the sheds of stuff most likely have a bunch of mold as well since it's all being held hostage from morning staff mostly!!!
