My Father's House

I seen so many good reviews about this place... but that I don't understand is that you been homeless sleeping in the car with 2 kids.. and you get a called.. and they take u in for a intake interview with ur kids...then get a called that our family wasn't accepted so I guess we not homeless enough for them or they judge you by ur looks.. it's terrible they shouldn't do this knowing how hard it is for the kids and us going through this...if people are looking for shelter is because they are homeless and need the help they shouldn't have to be having to get interview like this...

When you hear of a homeless shelter a lot of the times you think scary things. People must be bad or strung out. Not at My Father's House. The staff there are amazing and encouraging. They give you the confidence to build yourself back up as they help with basic needs until you're ready. They give you the information and what you do with it is up to you and if you feel the problem is good for you or not the success of each person is how well they work and how well they want it to.

I came to make a donation on behalf of my employer. They do such an incredible job helping folks who are experiencing homelessness while resting small children. I wish there were more places like this. Thank you to all the staff who give their best every day to those who need it the most!
