I found Mosaic when I was pregnant almost 4 years ago. It was unexpected and I was not sure if I was going to keep my baby or give him up for adoption. From the moment I walked in the place, everyone was so kind to me. They gave me plenty of resources and options and explained to me what the adoption process would be like if that was what I chose and they also explained to me the ways they could help in ways they could get me connected to other resources as well if I was to keep my baby. Thanks to their support and encouragement, I decided to keep and raise my son. I stayed with them for about 2 1/2 years throughout my pregnancy and continue to take their parenting classes and also received counseling there as well for almost two years after he was born. I’ve interacted and worked with quite a few of the people who worked and volunteered there and they’re all so great. I don’t think I can say one negative thing about this place. It’s been about a year since I’ve been there but I’m still connected to some of the resources they had given me from the very beginning.

I came to Mosaic lost and without hope. The staff at Mosaic came along side me offering a safe place without judgement. They gave me wise council and tools to help me be the best Mom I could be for my daughter. They also helped me access resources in my community and helped me get a job. I am now working full time, supporting myself and my daughter. I am forever grateful to Mosaic Virginia.
