I had a very upsetting experience when I called Mosaic Family Services on April 9th between 7:30 and 8:00 PM. I spoke with someone who identified themselves as “Tina,” though I’m not sure if that was the real name. Regardless of the name, the person who answered the phone was extremely rude and dismissive, she also hung up on me 3 times. I was calling in a time of crisis, trying to find help as someone escaping a domestic violence situation. I explained that I was currently outside of Dallas but would be coming into the city the next day and needed immediate support. Instead of offering any assistance or guidance, I was told I couldn’t be helped and to just call back tomorrow. When I explained that I was in an unsafe situation and needed help now, I was still brushed off. This is not how survivors should be treated. People in crisis deserve compassion, not judgment or indifference. I hope this organization takes this seriously and reevaluates how their staff responds to those reaching out for help. When someone reaches out for help in a domestic violence situation, the last thing they should experience is being brushed off or spoken to with attitude. I explained that I was in an unsafe situation and coming to Dallas for safety, and instead of offering support or guidance, I was told I couldn’t be helped and to call back another day. The way I was spoken to was cold and dismissive—no compassion, no concern. That kind of response can push someone away from seeking help again. And lead them down a dark path. We deserve to be heard, believed, and treated with care.

This place was not a good experience for me or my son. The staff are very rude, and unattended to your needs. It is people doing drugs in the bathroom and alcohol and the girls were bullies. All in all Mrs Floyd the director was the only one that kinda cared everyone else were really rude

CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. I had came in sat in the lobby for 10 mins no one at the receptionist desk. The room next door was a full on conversation about how this females care was used somewhere in South America when she was in Massachusetts and got her money refunded back plus the Olive Garden that she had too. Finally a guy came out asked if I had a appointment and walked back into the room before I could ask him him a question. I waiting 5 mins to see if someone will come out again. No. So I just walked out when I noticed I had the appointment later in the day. When I came back there was someone at the receptionist but she was having a conversation with a co worker didn’t greet me when I came in once I sat down she asked me if I had a appointment. Very unprofessional experience.
