I worked in the childcare program at Middle Way House for almost two years. The people in administration didn't know anything about the childcare program and didn't respect the staff and the families who attended the childcare program. The childcare coordinator didn't respect staff and the families. She did not care about the children's health and safety. The children that attend the childcare program have lost a lot of weight, because the coordinator decided to switch their food menu to vegan despite staff and parent's concerns. Also Middle Way House has never offered counseling to any of the women that live at shelter or the Rise. I'm am angry and sad. These women and their children deserve better.

Absolutely wonderful place! They helped me make a plan of escape from domestic violence. I will always be grateful for the kindness and tangible support.

The staff let me GET robbed of my personal information and all of my medications.i have no blood pressure medication now and all they want to do is say I had all of it. Well im missing 2 bags and a backpack with everything I needed. I'm not done going to the police everyday to file again and again until something is done or I have a heart attack.

Staff will hold you accountable for other peoples actions. 3 mothers where threw out over false accusations with under 24hr notice. They reside there because they were abused and its very cold. Christmas season and these women were put out. One of the moms gets up everyday and takes her kids out in the bruttle cold to be to work at 5am. Has no prior write ups or warnings and was put out by Miranda who went by hear say and unjustly evicted these women with children. Please reconsider going here if you have any other options. Very poorly managed. You will be given chores to clean up after other people even if you were not on site and had no involvement in their mess. More of a maid and a hinder then help. She had no sympathy for these women and their children and happily put those women out. Hopefully they have better equipped staff in the future. Those who really care and give people a fair chance.
