Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA)

This housing agency MDHA is discriminative, negligent, and retaliatory. I’ve complained about issues that have been ignored. One of those issues is a senior maintenance technician in Kirkpatrick Park Apartments viciously harassing and stalking me since 2019. In September 2024 I did a detailed review on him and in retaliation this past December he stole the check I get from MDHA from my mailbox.

Terrible, The ENTIRE Time I lived there maintenance issues that the cover up. They count money that you don't get and calculate it toward your rent. They want you to work less and quit jobs for affordable rent and don't care that you have children to care for, they don't calculate your children as an expense or transportation. Even if the opportunity presented itself I would never go back to living in an mdha property! I only gave 1 start for the review.

My children and I about to be out on the street waiting on an approval I been crying daily. I see people really don’t care about others. I found us a place got approved now just waiting section 8 to do they part I’m so depressed and upset with myself as a mother for even having to depend on help.A mom of an autistic child is hard.
