I’m tired of this I’ve called at least a dozen time within a few weeks can’t get ahold of somebody I moved I need to switch it to my new address but here it is how am I supposed to do it in time but y’all don’t answer

This place is the hardest place to get a real person on the phone to talk to! It’s almost unbelievable! And, if you just happen to get someone on the phone consider yourself blessed... because that’s about all you’re going to get! I have never known of a “Community Action Center” that’s NEVER in a position to HELP the people in the community! 👎🏽 If they offer to help, you can best believe... that's all you're going to get! Just the “offer”! They never deliver what's been promised.

In 2019, I was struggling and had just had my first child. I was in a very hard place in my life and I knew I wanted better for my child and would do everything I needed to in order to give her a better life. Cory helped me, I feel like he was able to read my situation and could tell I was more than willing to do what I needed to but I just needed help to get started. I told him I had a plan. He said he would help me for a month, if within that month one of us could get a job, he would continue to help my family. With in two days I walked til I found a job and started that week cleaning hotel rooms. I kept my word and so did he. I saved every dime I could and sold my car to move 12 hours out of state in hopes to give my child a better life. To this day I am still keeping my word to the man who helped me get to where I am. A kind jolly stranger, who in my darkest times was a light. Who is still a spark when life gets hard. My little girl is now 4, I have a jeep that's paid off, a beautiful home and a career all because a stranger believed in me, when I barely believed in myself. My experience with them was simple. We will help, and if you are willing to help yourself as well then we will help you reach your goal with in the time frame they can. Cory if your reading this, thank you for all you do and believing in me. My little one and I are in a much better place now. And we think of you and the lovely ladies in the office often. Thank you all.
