Honestly Mercy did help me a lot. But I was kicked out in the end and they gave me no reason to why. But many people would later tell me about two residents that wanted me out. They said it was because of my anger, but I had changed a lot since when I first came. And was making a lot of progress. And I didn't know at the time that I was going to graduate soon.
Soon after I left, counselors and staff started leaving. Then they shut down after a few months. And I went back into my abusive home and ended up trying to "get to heaven" my situation became so bad.
But the staff there was amazing. But I am doing a lot better. Sadly not because of Mercy.

I was here 27 years ago when they were mainly a home for pregnant teens to be hidden away. It was called Mercy Ministries then. It was clear right away that it was just an adoption agency that pressured vulnerable young women to give up their babies. The "Christian" counseling was done by an older couple that regularly screamed at me when I asked questions. I never stopped crying the entire time I was there but was fortunate enough to be taken in by a loving family that helped me get back on my feet. I can see from the reviews that this place is still a scam.

Mercy changed my life and I’m forever grateful. The readings, lessons, counseling, structure and staff are amazing. You’ll get out of it what you put into it. Freedom in Christ is possible.
