Went here yesterday and really enjoyed it. We were greeted at the door by Bev and she took us by the hand and answered all our questions. She even sat with us for the service. She is a real blessing to the church. We are going back to check it out more. We come from a small Georgia chuch, so a church this size is a daunting. We will follow-up after checking out life-groups (Sunday school). She said there are 35 of them. Wow!!

My family and I have been members of McGregor Baptist Church for 16 years. We started attending because they had the best children's programs around (and still do). Our children were constantly singing the songs they heard at church. Then they went through the youth group with Pastor Ben Flemming and could not be more pleased. The pastors and staff work so hard and are very dedicated. My wife and I have Life Group where we are with other couples our age who are going through the same struggles and triumphs that we are. We are thankful for the life long relationships that we have forged. There is Women's Ministry, Men's Ministry, Singles Ministries and dozens of discipleship classes to sharpen your walk with Jesus. There is a contemporary (loud music) venue and traditional venue (choir and orchestra) I think the church facilities are likely the best in Fort Myers. We don't attend because of that, but it makes the experience richer. Try it out!

This church has wonderful music and a nice atmosphere. However, never has anyone in one year of attendance come greet us. Our biggest concern is that the pastor never preaches the actual gospel message. The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. You'll never hear those exact words or the mention of the blood of Jesus that washes away all sin. Here's why they don't. It offends people just as it does in the Bible. Instead, they ask you to flag down a pastor and ask about how to come to Christ if you have any questions about Salvation. The pastor won't make it public from the pulpit, (Romans 10:9) which is a real missed opportunity for those that can receive Christ through faith in the gospel message from their seats.

I'm not sure about the church, other than they are great hosts and let the right groups use their church. We had a conference here and I was totally impressed with everything! I can also say that they have a beautiful campus and sanctuary!
