I went today 7/20/2022 with my fiancé and 1 year old son because we needed a little help. We arrived to the parking attendant who is known as "Richard" and was directed the parking lot was a "one way road" and to go around the parking lot. We agreed and went the direction we thought was the right way and parked in handicapped parking. Richard chased after our vehicle, slammed his forearm on the driver's side window and started yelling at us. He then threatened that if we did that again we wouldn't be allowed to visit this food pantry again and made sure to tell us he didn't care about my being handicapped. He continues to speak over us not letting us get a word in and then tells us we're fine to go in. Nobody deserves treatment like that when we're already hurting and need help. We left and won't be back. Don't go to this place! There's a woman named "Paige" who belittles, yells at and calls you a liar for bringing an issue that happened up, Richard, the parking attendant is terrible and makes you feel extremely small. Don't recommend this place. We've been living in this area for going on two years and have never been met with such disrespect!!! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!

I heard of this awesome food distributor from my best friend who lives in NC. I am a resident of Baltimore, Maryland and often give to meaningful organizations that (make a difference) in their surrounding communities. The products and services provided by M.A.D are I believe works of GOD, which is the main reason I have supported this work/ministry all the way from Baltimore. Feeding those that need help especially in these days and times is essential for those in the community especially for children and the elderly. With that said, yes things happen that are not the fault of the food pantry… crazy stuff just happens now and then. Anyway I thank GOD for this place and will continue to support it just I do here for my community as I support the Maryland Food Bank. These places are not only places to help those who need it but they are ministries of the Lord Jesus Christ. No body is perfect so let’s encourage those who run M.D.A Food Pantry. Keep up the good work! Blessings to you all in NC, Tony

They make a difference and are genuinely wonderful people! The parking situation is handled just as well as any other local event. All is needed is some patience, common sense, and courtesy by everyone. It's really not a big deal I've gone through at least a dozen times with no problems. If you can safely go to a family reunion or a local sporting event you can easily handle a steadily moving line to park. Be grateful for a place to line up and park to receive FREE groceries 🙏

As a former volunteer at Make A Difference food pantry, I can attest to how hard the work is there. The hours are long and time constraints most always put you under pressure to get the pantry ready for distribution.. The folks do an awesome job. If all pantries function as well as this one, a lot more stomachs would get filled. Keep up the good work.

The MAD Pantry is such a unique food pantry. Do you need a blessing? This is the place to come. Everyone is so kind, nonjudgmental, and they truly want to help each person that arrives. It’s like walking into a fresh market where you pick out your food. The hot meals they serve are so delish! And, don’t miss out on picking up a homemade cupcake that is not only beautiful but also so yummy. Are there rules to follow in the parking lot and inside? Of course. Be kind, be patient, follow the instructions as you enter the parking lot so no one is injured…and you will leave so blessed.
