Long Beach Rescue Mission

I have Attended The Long Beach Rescue Mission for over 25 years and It continues to impress Me.. The only negative thing is that They No Longer Provide Outsiders with a Showering Opportunity..

I love this establishment. My father preaches every third Sunday here and the gentleman here always welcoming. Wonderful place! Would love to work here if I could!

Extremely abusive to clients/victims of crime several male staff commenting on clients clothing zero laundry services no SAFE SECURE OR PRIVATE AREA TO CHANGE OR SHOWER NO SHOWERS PROVIDED CHOPS MALE STAFF AFTER REPEATEDLY BEGGING HIM TO STOP REFEENCED HIS GANG TO FEMALE CLIENT in attempts to intimidate and scare her at 6am she had the same clothes on as when the director walked her to the grievance box to put her grievance in ANOTHER STAFF THREATENED IF THE CLIENT DIDNT CHANGE OR LEAVE THE SHELTER would be arrested for trespassing. The staff member and I quote "AT LEAST I HAVE A HOME TO GO HOME TOO " if that's not abuse on top of the 6,am verbal attack 10-1-25 then American society needs to rethink how they want their daughters sisters wifes and mothers treated. This ABUSE and HARRASSMENT she has to endure if she doesn't want to die in the streets or return to her abuser
