If the option to give zero stars were available, I would. I have spent a month and a half trying to talk to someone within this office via phone. Waiting in the more than 10-person line, eventually getting to number 2 in line just for the system to hang up on me for reaching the maximum hold time. I even have tried catching the office when it opens to have the same result. Of course, I call back and repeat this process over and over again. Just for the results to be the same each and every time. This pro bono service needs to improve its connection with the community that it aims to help.

I inherited my home from my husband, a Vietnam veteran who had stated this in his WILL and a letter since we worked hard to pay our home off in 2011. However During the pandemic I had covid and his ex-wife falsified documents and did a deed change on a Saturday and put us out without Due process. Not expecting his death funds were low, so I asked LEGAL AID TO HELP they didn't investigate they said it didn't look like any foul play and closed it. Are you serious? Even the title company said it was solid that everything in his name was supposed to go directly to my name. So here we are 2 plus years living Iike Nomads, something I wasn't raised to know how to do so its been hard. I've lost eyesight in the right eye from a fall almost amputate my leg from celliutius not to mention me and my dog freezing every winter and heat in the summer. It's been hell, and I still keep the faith praying for God to send us someone with compassion and give me back my retirement, our home.
