Facility is Out of ADA law compliance!!! They were a little helpful. But after I asked to go to the hospital because I was having suicidal ideations; without anybody telling me to and without having any behaviors. (Which I'm on disability for a mental health disability as well). When I returned they denied me for the DV program even still in danger, and their SUD program too. They told me even if I went out and was using Id still not qualify. Definitely not in compliance with ADA law. I did not harm myself and had great insight and checked myself into a mental health facility and had no behaviors there except doing other ppls chores when midnight passed so the staff wouldn't have to.

Speaking to someone she said I didn't qualify and I said. Okay if I'm killed. Know you were the last person I spoke. And she hung up in my face. Shout out to baby girl

This place saved my life. Seriously the staff are wonderful compassionate caring people and go above and beyond to help clients who are seeking recovery and are serious about it! I absolutely recommend the Lafayette House to women seeking shelter for substance abuse and safety from domestic violence, children are welcome too. They offer so many services. I only wish I had had the courage to check in sooner. Thank you Lafayette house for everything!
