La Leche League in Oklahoma

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing parent-to-parent, peer-to-peer, mother-to-mother support, education, information, and encouragement to those who want to nurse their babies. Leaders are experienced parents who nursed their babies for one year or more, and they are trained and accredited by La Leche League International in the normal course of breastfeeding/nursing. We offer individual information and support to help you prepare for nursing during pregnancy or during an adoption process and to help people overcome many of the early challenges of lactation as well as those that may arise later on the nursing journey. We also offer group information and support through our meetings.
