The female cashier isn't the most friendliest and doesn't take too kindly to being asked questions always appears to be annoyed but overall the staff especially the male ones are excellent very well spoken and professional, answer queations with such clarity.. Tags can be a bit confusing but an absolutely amazing place to shop.. I love the items and the store is very well organized not clustered and very clean. I commend the workers on their cleanliness and organizational skills... I would recommend anyone to shop and support.. i encourage and i myself will donate here because their price isn't for the rich but for the ones who need it the most on a budget they can afford....

This is one of my favorite thrift stores. Ever. Been coming for years. I always find great items. I will say though, the customer service is lacking. I’m finally going to say something about it. It appears the same two people, an older woman and gentleman, have been running the place for a while. I went in yesterday and I forgot to pull out my reusable bag and the lady had already bagged up my items while I dug through my purse. When I asked if I could use my reusable and apologized for forgetting I had it on me, she rolled her eyes and told me I could put the bag she already filled inside the reusable. That’s redundant. So she refused to rebag my items. She wouldn’t even allow me to remove the items from the grocery bag to put in my reusable myself, as she held the bag tightly at the top and wouldn’t give me space to place it down. It was very odd and uncalled for. I do customer service and if one of my regulars wanted me to do something as simple as take a few items out of one bag and move it to another, I absolutely would, because that’s my job, it’s simple, and it’s kind to do. The gentleman there has screamed at me from the door while I dropped off donations. I think the signs for where to go aren’t helpful and I simply placed them down in the wrong area. He startled me by yelling and I have never dropped off a donation again. Maybe just come out and help guide the person to the correct area next time instead of yelling from the door. And thank them for giving you free items to help your store run. They can’t be bothered. I took my friend yesterday for their first time with me and they witnessed the bag ordeal and mentioned when we left that they probably won’t be back. Hubbard house is an exceptional nonprofit that I’ve referred lots of my families to in times of need. I will continue to support it. But I know when I walk in, to expect nothing more or less than bad customer service.

Hubbard House has a real thrift store. There are things that are on there that you can buy for a dollar or $.60. They have everything that you can imagine there I’m including some photos so you can get an idea of what things look like inside I purchased a very inexpensive hat to wear for $.60 and a few glass jars one to dispense syrup for a dollar. Plenty of things to do there it’s for a good cause. They help people who’ve been abused, especially women and children. They also accept donations but not on Monday and not when they are closed. Good store good people let’s keep supporting them and they always need volunteers to help out.
