I’m hopeful they do good work however the process to donate furniture was disappointing. I set aside my 2 couches for 2 weeks. Once they arrived they said the couches were too worn and had a corner with a cat scratch. The couches had just been cleaned they were used couches. I wish this would’ve been disclosed over the phone. I find it hard to believe that someone starting over with nothing wouldn’t appreciate the couches when starting over. Was it possible they just did not want to lift the couch?

I was treated so Horribly here. They had a sign for .10 books. I probably bought 3. I made a purchase of over $100.00 dollars worth of items. When I got home my receipt shows I was charged $12 for one book. I went back with my receipt. The cashier gave me all kinds of stress over an obviously mistaken on their end. She called her manager and he was immediately rude. He said just get a $12 dollar product. Leave and don’t come back. I said he act like I did something wrong, you overcharged me. He said the electric button is by the book button and she might have charge me for another item and I’m saying it was for a book. I told him the receipt says it’s a book. I ask can I just have my money back. He said.. yes and if you want you can bring all your items back and get your money back. We get this stuff for free anyways.

I waited in line for probably 15 mins to purchase my items (it was busy because everything was half off) and when I was next in line, I noticed a small sign, laying flat, next to the register that said “$10 minimum non-debit credit cards”. I didn’t have my debit card or cash, so I assumed I’d just have to pay a fee…nope, it was only debit card or cash if under $10, so I couldn’t get any of my items and had to put them back, and I could have maybe went and found more items, but I’d probably have to wait in that long line again because the cashiers didn’t really seem to want to help in anyway and were also pretty rude to me. I checked the front of the building, to make sure I didn’t miss a sign that stated “$10 minimum on non-debit cards” and there’s not. One, if that’s a rule, where I can’t get anything with my credit card under $10, then that needs to be on the front of the building. Two, if you’re having an event and don’t have the staff to keep up, don’t take your frustration out on me, a person who decided to come to your establishment and wait patiently in a long line, while being 8 months pregnant, to buy things with my hard earned money. Very disappointing.
