I called on behalf of a homeless gentleman that I put up in my home for a couple of nights. The phone operator was very rude. He first pretended that he couldn't hear me, saying "you must be in a bad, bad spot", even though I was using wifi calling on high speed internet. I called him back, and instead of being fake, he just became rude. He asked if I could put the gentleman on the line, and then abruptly ended the call when I said I couldn't because he wasn't present. It's unfortunate that there isn't a better place I can send this guy, but I'm going to have to hope they treat him better than they treated me.

I love this place. It is not a homeless shelter. It is a life recovery center. The staff are very loving and concerned about individuals as a whole person; mentally, spiritually, financially, and any other area in your life that may be broken. The victory program is awesome. I love it.

This place has changed my life and saved me. It is not just for recovering addicts, it's for everyone in a bad situation wanting to better themselves. They have a wonderful daycare program I am a teacher in and all the wonderful kids here at the mission are so loved and cared for, while the mothers work and better themselves through the program. Dont believe the negative reviews. People who come here just for a roof over there heads dont last long because this is a work based program and therapy services, and psychiatrists are available. The staff is very supportive through everything and anything. I am extremely grateful to the Mills and creating this safe haven!
