Hopeful Horizons

I am posting on account that is not my real name for privacy reasons . In may of 2025 I finally decided to leave my abusive relationship behind for my unborn child. I stayed here for maybe a month and a half. The staff were very welcoming, and the place was very clean. They even helped me move into a new place and furnished the whole place for me eight months later, I am still in the same place and still so thankful for them and will be for the rest of my life if you need help, I strongly encourage going here going through something so traumatic as abuse. I understand how hard it can be to open up and ask for help but my time spent here I did not feel judged one bit.

Was calling with a friend to hopefully get them placed in a safe environment, the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. The lady on the phone was practically berating my friend and wouldn’t let them talk. Extremely concerned that they have this type of person working with people who clearly need help. Hope she can get some training on bedside manners and learn to not let her attitude get in the way of people’s safety.

This office only cares about opening and closing cases. They do not have your best interests at heart. They will drop you in a heart beat and not even have the courtesy to meet with you in person to discharge you. Too many people involved and too much miscommunication happened. I would definitely not recommend this organization if you want to be more than a caseload.
