Was calling with a friend to hopefully get them placed in a safe environment, the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. The lady on the phone was practically berating my friend and wouldn’t let them talk. Extremely concerned that they have this type of person working with people who clearly need help. Hope she can get some training on bedside manners and learn to not let her attitude get in the way of people’s safety.

This office only cares about opening and closing cases. They do not have your best interests at heart. They will drop you in a heart beat and not even have the courtesy to meet with you in person to discharge you. Too many people involved and too much miscommunication happened. I would definitely not recommend this organization if you want to be more than a caseload.

Yesterday, we attended the annual Christmas party organized in shelter. The shelter prepared dinner, Christmas gifts, and gift cards for us, so my son and me can buy some favorite Christmas treats. We felt the warmth and love of the big family, Christmas no longer felt lonely. The shelter is truly a home for women and children like us who have experienced domestic violence.
