Wholeheartedly thank you to Ms. Gina and the entire legal help center! This team’s rapid responses and guidance from the beginning to the end was a blessing to me in such a short notice circumstance. Thank you to the entire staff for each service provided. If you are seeking assistance please give them a call they care about you genuinely and make you feel that way from the beginning to the end. If you need anything…know you aren’t alone…and this team will reassure you like they did me. Blessings.

I had a bad experience during my previous stay with HopeWorks months ago. However, that was behind me as I thought. Now that I'm in need of their help again. I'm being rejected in the time of need. They more I plead, the more I get rejected. It's a long story. It's unbelievable, they calm to be a DV agency! They are terrible and unprofessional and heartless, especially the supervisors. I won't recommend this agency to anyone. I will only recommend Dove if your in the Baltimore county area. Dove are much better. HopeWorks are nothing in comparison, sadly.

I felt disappointed & discrimination by the woman and condescending tone . I also tried to find safety in their so called domestic shelter crisis housing options . I was rejected I still don’t know the reason why . I went here 3 years ago for a 6 week class i. That was an okay experience. However I have consistently tried and failed to get counseling specific domestic abuse therapy from Hopeworks. I’m told they have three counselors on staff , and then told by same lady IIm not putting you on the waiting list? These people in my experience do more PLACATING , no empathy or any sort of what you’d kinda expect from place mostly women In domestic dramas, and violence. The most recent communications was with think same uncaring, PLACATING , aloof, , and DISMISSIVE woman . She was also defensive ? Seriously REALLY? She must not know what THE I MESSAGE IS OR HOWCTO USE IT ON upset , and SCARED people calling . THIS PLACE I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND OR SUGGEST . They do what do many organizations seem to CHOOSE to do now a days .. PASS THE BATON TO SOME OTHER PLACE TO DESL WITH.

I started going here about a year ago because I had just gotten a protective order from my now ex-husband. A representative came up to me in court and offered their services, so I accepted gracefully. Their counseling center is really, really amazing. my therapist is the best I've had in my life. All of the therapists here are amazing. They offer group therapy as well which is great. Overall, I love this place and would recommend anyone.

I love HopeWorks, I attend the New Behaviours program for women. They are very supportive of your case and do a lot to help. A lot of the treatment that you will partake in is dependent on your output and the effort you put into it. I am not 100% sure about the program outside of New Behaviours, because I do my best to focus on my treatment and the group. But I know they do on call case work if you are going through anything or even having a hard day and just need to talk to anyone ASAP. They will be there for that. I have been to many different therapy offices and practices and this one is the most caring and non judgemental I've been to in my life. If you are seeking income based group therapy rather it be court ordered or not, the New Behaviors Program is a constructive, comfortable, and fun group where you can really be yourself and recieve the help you need without judgement. You will also be able to learn to understand others along the journey to helping yourself.
