I tried donating a whole house full of things to the Hope House after our parents death. They said they would take it but when they showed up, all they wanted to do was to pick through and get the 'big' items. They only took a couch, love seat, china cabnit and a metal detector. They said they would have to make several trips and would come on a Saturday. When they arrived and found out that a breakfast nook had been given away, they wanted NOTHING left in the house. They said since 'everything' they came for had been already given away, they'd just take what they had on a small flat trailer they brought. They had taken the chairs that went with a heavy dining table but said the table was broken(it has a small Crack that affects nothing), they took a couple of boxes of brand new Mason canning jars, a brand new juicer and a new pressure cooker. I told them we had mattresses, bags of cloths, towels, shoes, recliners, pots and pans, glasses, silverware and tons of other stuff the day before. They pretended to be excited I guess but all they wanted was the breakfast nook. When I told them to leave the chairs to the dining table, they unloaded ALL that they had hand picked off into the yard and left. They were rude and when I ask, don't you sell cloths and matressestgere, she replied that they had enough cloths but never spoke about the mattress sets (we have three). These people are rude and complete lies. I will NEVER donate to them again or darken them door to shop there.

Okay, im not going to lie this is a good thrift store good staff and everything. But me and my family wanted to go and look at some things. Untill some staff brought us a paper and to sign it because they think were suspicious cause my mom looks at things and holds them sometimes gives it to me to hold it so she could get like money or her glasses to see it. And about the paper, they will ban us for 2 months just for that! I never seen my mom steal like im for real she doesn't rob like yall said. And i know yall said "We never said you rob anything yall just look suspicious" like if my mom just lets me hold on to things to take pictures or to go get something from her car it doesn't mean WERE SUSPICIOUS look at your cameras better! To see were not "Shoplifters" this made my mom really upset she really liked this store and yall had to ruin it for her!😤😔 i dont wanna be rude or anything like that im just really upset about what just happend.

Mr Snipes and his team provide immense support to the local community. He personally helped us downsize a lot of home goods and got them out to the community…fair prices and wonderful support to Moultrie and South Georgia.

I loved visiting this little thrift store! There was a nice selection, and many name-brand items. I bought two pairs of shoes (one pair a Worthingtons), a dress and a cardigan for $10. Proceeds benefit the OB center next to the store, which I always love about hidden gem thrift stores!
