This review is not my personal experience, but that of a young lady I know. She went there when she was pregnant because she had nowhere else to go. She is a Christian, with a strong faith, and felt this place would be a good place to stay while she was pregnant and getting on her feet. The rules they have are about ridiculous... a 4:30 curfew, mandatory that you attend their "church", dining with everyone, etc. My "friend" works 5-6 days a week, and is trying to save money to get her own place. The staff at His Nesting Place didn't like that she was so independent. They truly want the woman to depend on them, for everything. They are not helping these woman get on their feet. The staff were not very nice to her, and even shamed her for past life choices. Umm, Jesus doesn't shame. He forgives. They asked her to leave, and gave her a midweek date in the near future to be out by. When she told them she would be working and would leave before that, they wouldn't give her back her security deposit. They claimed it was because she was leaving earlier than they wanted. They also say there is a wait list (although there were 2 open beds). If there is a waitlist, why would they care if she left early? The staff seem to be quite judgemental, and are only nice to the women who depend on them. If the 'his' in HIS Nesting Place refers to Jesus, then they may want to do some soul searching and get to who Jesus really is for the less fortunate.

I've been living at His Nesting Place over 6 months and I'm so grateful to call this place home. It's more than just a shelter for me and my 6 children, the staff and other moms are like my family. There is so much love here and they really take care of you and have only your best interests at heart here. I truly believe that the Lord brought us here so we could grow closer to Him and to learn more about His word and His promises to us. I admire the work they do here and their dedication to saving babies and helping struggling mothers like myself. Thank you God for His Nesting Place and everyone who makes this ministry run 🙏
