Scare to leave your place cause you have no idea where to start or where to go? Looking for shelter cause you have no family nearby? Dont have transportation?
If your gut is telling you to pack your bags and leave an unsafe environment……. As someone who went through all those fears and uncertainty, im here to tell you that you’ll be in good hands at Help Now of Osceola and these fears/worries can and will be handled.
Their team of social workers and experienced professionals will make sure to WELCOME you, sit down with you and guide you towards your next move. There are so much good things I can say about all of them. The team during day time, the night time team, the ones that stay with you during weekends and while you sleep. You will always have someone to talk to and they all work together.
You will have a bed for you and your kids. You’ll have a place where ur basic needs will be covered, a place to get urself cleaned up safely and a place to prep your meals for you and little ones.
Its a very scary heart wrenching situation finding yourself having to leave all your commodities and belongings behind (not just urs but ur children’s too). Having to walk out of what you once known as your “home”, to find safety; yes it is scary.
Help Now of Osceola will welcome you already knowing that dream has been shattered, and are ready to walk with you this new beginning.
All it takes is for you to believe in you, and to believe that will happen because IT WILL HAPPEN. These professionals are resourceful people who will make sure you are doing everything possible to move forward. The outcome is in your hands, and you got this.

I have to thank the amazing and wonderful Miss Rikky. She helped me with a very detailed oriented program. She is someone who takes time from her daily duties to sit down with you and listen to you when you need the most. Not only she listens, but she makes sure those conversations move you one step forward to your goal. I cant thank enough how far I’ve gone with her wisdom and words of encouragement. She’s one special angel on earth.
I have to also thank Faviola (helped me with so many docs and paperwork) Sharon (helped me on follow ups with state benefits I didn’t even knew of; my kids looked at her w so much love and wouldn’t want to leave her side at nightime), Mariana (the one who made possible for me and my kids to have a safe place to sleep, for me to get all benefits up and running including daycare), Arlene (my daughter wouldn’t want to leave her side at daytime), Maryangeli, Noel (helped me with resume and interviews), Jackie, Joi(the weekends weren’t the same without her) (I cant recall all the names, but I remember all of you with love, Thank you!!!!) Everyone was of great service and help.
