One main problem. It’s take more then 45 minutes to resee an phone call with customers services when getting my rent updated. And got diss by the first worker on the phone and now waiting for someone to respond. ☹️

I am now on my SEVENTH try for food assistance. I have been on hold for three days. The employees are rude, condescending, and not helpful in the slightest. I feel so bad for people who have children and have to deal with this. It's a disgrace to the state and to the country. Update: I was rejected after so long on hold. Apparently I make ¢50 over the limit and was told to call back if I lose my job.

You appreciate it once it's gone. "Isaiah 54:14. I am grateful that we have a government that is secure and just in serving people." Thank you God!!! We are extremely rich compared to most countries. The government provides so much assistance for us. That's to be praised! There is guidelines like anything else. That's to be expectected! Guidelines are there for our own good. When the fathers are absence from the homes. You can count on them to make sure you have medicaid for your entire family and food on your table to feed your babies. Gotten me through rough times, many times in the years. Nice to have the peace knowing there is help available when you truly need it. However, God is #1 always. God puts the government in place to meet these needs of the people. Remember that! Praise HIM!!! #GRATITUDE CHANGES ATTITUDE!

Terrible Service like expected. Why is it that when you live in an Urban area… your OWN people treat you less than your worth. Why is it that when your trying to get assistance your own people treat you like you begging… as if their digging into their own pockets and giving you a portion of their personal check. As African American people We Have TO DO BETTER! We are the only group of people that treat OUR OWN people WORSE than those against us. It’s sad really. Back to the service… I had a scheduled appointment and couldn’t reach anybody on the phone for a week. I lived in a rural area previously and was able to fill out the application, have the interview and received the benefits in the same DAY! Just sad. I love my people, but this is why when our people get opportunities we move away not because we phony.. but because we REALIZE cities demonstrate the crab in the barrel effect were instead of lifting each other up we pull each other back down.

I was just denied services from pua and the care act today. 2 years after filing. All my savings ran out, and then I went to work for a company that is in a class action suit for not paying employees, I didn't know that at the time. I canvased for Obama, and have voted to increase social services at every election. Since when I'm in trouble, I have never received support, I will vote against every social service from now on. I just see it as a tool to buy votes, and if you can't get help from them, I suggest you do the same.
