I really wish that I could give a higher review here but our time with this agency was one of heartbreak, multiple times. Coming from someone who is licensed in mental health, every single thing is scrutinized and recommendations are given with no real mental health basis. Communication is poor, and hopeful adopting parents seem to get judged in a manner that leads most to not get accepted. We were even referred to counseling (which seems to be a common experience) and had a licensed professional sign off and were still denied. As someone who works with children and the foster system, the way we were treated appauled me. I have never felt worse about myself than the way I was made to feel by this agency. Please save yourself the heartbreak and the non-refundable money and go elsewhere. I promise it will be worth it.

We are SO appalled by the service we received from this adoption agency. From start to finish, our experience was filled with unnecessary pain and frustration. After paying $12,000 for our home study, which we believe was taken fraudulently, we complied with every demand they made. (Side note: other agencies only charge $1-3,000 for the home study process). Under no circumstances will they give refunds. Instead of support, we faced unfounded and incredibly inappropriate accusations of alcoholism and were forced into an 8-week counseling program. We truly believe they forced us to go to therapy, so that we would be 'diagnosed' with a disorder, to give them leverage to deny us. We completed in good faith, believing it would lead us to approval, as they stated in multiple emails. To our shock, they then informed us after completing the therapy that we could not proceed with our adoption unless we proved sobriety for 2-5 years. They back tracked on their word, even though we had emails stating we would be approved after completing therapy. A typical home study should take 3 months as we were told by them, but they drug us through the wringer for nearly 9 months. This agency has not only delayed our dreams of starting a family but has also subjected us to emotional turmoil and extreme disrespect and judgement. I would STRONGLY advise anyone considering adoption to look elsewhere. I cannot in good faith ever recommend this agency.

It’s with a heavy, but earnest heart that this review is written. My hope is that it stays here and offers guidance to other families, before it “mysteriously” gets taken down like many of the other past reviews that were also poor and spoke truth. My (well-educated) theory is that this agency takes on way more families wanting babies that they have babies coming through their program. Once you pay $1,000s of dollars that they won’t give back under any circumstances, you are at their mercy - both timeline-wise and discretion-wise. As someone that has been through 3 adoptions with 4 of our children, I’m brokenhearted at how unethical this agency operates. I understand very well all that would qualify (or not qualify) a family to receive a child. I am also a professional that has worked for decades in the court systems on behalf of babies/children being placed in safe homes. My personal narrative is as follows. - I have a friend and her husband that are more than qualified and would give a baby an amazing home and family with endless love. They have an amazing support family and are professionals, themselves. Sadly they invested their money, hearts, and time into this agency. They, like many others, got the run around in MANY ways and when this family FINALLY pushed this agency to do their job in getting their homestudy done, etc, they were ultimately given a poor homestudy and not allowed to continue in the process. Long story short- this agency seems to give high hopes to families, take their money, and when pushed to do their job, they dismiss the family and go on their way. If considering adoption, take if from someone that has been in your shoes and RUN. You’re hearts, time, and money (and babies) deserve better!!! May God bless you and do as He sees fit for this agency.
