I was in dire need of a vehicle last year before I was about to give birth to my first baby in Dec, I filled out the application a couple months before December with all needed info and waited. I never heard a word back from these people until almost an entire year goes by and I get an email saying I need to complete some more information in order to be considered for receiving a vehicle. ALMOST A YEAR LATER. I took things into my own hands with no help of this organization what so ever and purchased a cash vehicle to take my newborn to and from doctor appointments. IF YOU NEED AN EMERGENCY VEHICLE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS ORGANIZATION! SAVE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY! DO NOT WASTE TIME BEGGING THESE PEOPLE FOR HELP ITS NEVER COMING!

I completed the application process which was easy and very understandable. Now I am waiting for God’s angels to come through. I am so thankful to be in an area where amazing people help single mothers in need. I can’t wait for my blessing and I know it will be right on time.
I will keep praying, keep my head up and strengthen my faith in GOD. ❤️🥹

This place shouldn't be called God's garage, it should be called "mommy's garage." Unless you are a mother with a child (even an adult "child") they will NOT help you! They will even help women whose husband is overseas (which means they are making extra $$ that they can send their wife). I am a parapalegic - disabled female veteran living alone with no family nor help & I drove a 3hr trip one way there because SEVERAL ppl recommend I go here because "they help single veterans." *NOT TRUE!* I was turned away. I was told by the ppl in the ofc they cannot contact owner to even see if they could bypass this rule for me nor would they provide me a way to contact owner or whomever. As a child of God, I can tell you He's not happy with this. Particularly turning ppl away who are disabled & can barely help themselves. It was alot for me to make a long journey. I went by what other ppl told me, I tried calling but didn't get an answer. So i made the trip & was brushed off like I was a nobody. I know a woman who has an adult "child" not living with her & she was put on the list & helped later on. She was one who recommended I go there. Seriously, change your name to "mothers ONLY garage!" Since no one else matters. I have proof of being on disability & you can just look at me & see. God expects us to help the needy... and to be honest, some of these mothers are not needy. Who have husband's out of town that share bank accts or who have grown children. Many mos have passed since I went there & ppl still tell me, "go to God's garage, they will help you." Yah, you would think? Someone needs to open a garage for single disabled ppl & vets trying to make it on their own, on disability income. Other reviews mentioned the lack of love & empathy of the people in the ofc & I experienced the same. Shame on you, "child of God??" God expects us to walk in love, it is one of the MOST IMP commandments along w/loving God - MATTHEW 22:35-44. I would even be willing to pay for parts if they would put them on for free. You could at least offer that to single disabled veteran women. I know exactly what needs to be done as I got a free estimate showing everything. Why don't you give some ppl this option? I get that there may not be enough donation(s) to cover the cost of parts/labor. So why not offer this?
