Gabriel Project - St. Mary of Sorrows Catholic Church

We joined the church after moving to the area. It’s by far the biggest one we have been a part of. Even with that, we still are able to get a small church vibe. We sit in the front side and it’s easy to forget just how many people are behind you. I appreciate that the priests do make an effort to get to know their parishioners. They all stand outside after mass to greet everyone and try to remember names. It’s not a super conservative church either.

Wonderful churches, old St. Mary's on rte 123 and the absolutely gorgeous new church on Zion Dr. The priests are so caring and faith filled and office so very helpful. I was involved in the divorced and widowed support group and found it tremendously helpful for me. The Labor Day picnic festival and excellent chicken dinner cooked outside by men of the parish is excellent and great fun. I am about to reserve a few dinners actually ☺️ the parishioners have been welcoming and a good community.

Was here for a funeral last year, excellent service and lovely and interesting church. Would be very happy if my own parish. Cheers.
