I would like to begin by saying the following, ( My freedom of Speech is protected by the 1st Amendment in the United States Constitution) therefore I will begin by saying the following....I joined the Academy in 2019 in great hopes of learning more how to better cope being around society as I was just released from a 5 yr prison term. After awhile of being here at the Fresno Rescue Mission the front staff caught wind by a known source that after arriving from working at the Thrift store , this man told them that I had stolen goods in my private area hiding inside my underwear! So front desk Staff believing this individual took me to a backroom and told me if it was true. I repeatedly said NO!! That it was false information, but they didn't believe me whatsoever! They ( Staff) then proceeded to tell me to Strip Naked to see if I wasn't hiding anything in my private front parts! (This stripping naked wasn't new to me as I had done so alot in prison...) The whole time I was undressing I felt so humiliated yet to prove them wrong I did as they told me so. NAKED I stood there before them two staff members ..... After then did they believe me and not the other guy whom I believed was my brother in Christ...( Niko )....It's been all these years and till this day that day at the FRESNO RESCUE MISSION , will never be Forgotten. If I could advise people about this place this is it.. People BE ADVISED, this isn't the place to be , This is where God's word comes to Life where it says ( They profess me with there Lips but there Hearts are far from me). They profess to Know Christ but by their actions the truth is known. ( Every Tree is known by there fruit). With all this being said it is by no means my intentions to inflict any harm to anyone's Character by Defamation but to instead speak up for any other Man who has gone through this and not saying anything about it. The Truth cannot be Defamatory!!

My life changed dramatically at Rescue the children. The staff excepted me when i was broken and hopeless with open arms. I was in a dark place but I met God there and he broke that darkness off my life. The staff taught me how to love myself again and believe for more in my life because God had good plans for me. I learned working skills I never knew I had and how to serve as Christ did. I had never worked before but now I have been working there for over 4 years. In not one department but 3 different departments. They helped me go back to school and now I am a registered counselor. Of course I give all glory to God but it was God in the hearts of the staff and volunteers that restored my hope in humanity. I have witnessed lives changed day after day and will always be great full for The Fresno Mission all departments. Thank you and God Bless all the staff and men and women and children that.enter in
