Freedom House came and picked up all of the furniture I was looking to donate. The staff were great communicators, handled the furniture well without any damages to the home. I highly recommend donating to this charity.

Called Freedom House to have them pick up things from my grandmothers house when she passed away. We had packed up a lot of gently used items into boxes and the Freedom House said they would come and pick them up. They came the day of and only took the furniture and said they could not take the boxes but we could bring them to them... You have the means to take the boxes and told us you would, but the day of take that statement back.. There are so many items in the probably 15-20 boxes that are new/barely used and could potentially bring FH a good profit, but they are unwilling to do the work. I think this reflects poorly on this organization as they say they want to help out those who need, but given the opportunity to place a TON of nice items on their shelves and to make money from it and they do not want it for what reason? They will have to make 2 trips in the van to get all of the items. Oh well, we will be donating the items elsewhere. Crazy.. if I was to own a thrift store I would be ALL over stuff like that.

This program is AMAZING !!!! It saved my daughter and my lives! Would recommend to anyone struggling with Addiction! The staff is so loving and amazing !
