Never went there Needed social security office instead

As a recovering victim of a violent crime with (a GSW to the spine) I believe was in connection to my time working in law enforcement, I lost everything and spent years trying to recover. I moved to the Fort Bend area for my first job opportunity since the traumatic event, that would accommodate my condition and to somewhat improve my life and not be at the brink of homelessness with my 3 year old son. I was informed about Fort Bend County Social Services and some programs they offer that I would be possibly eligible for that would help me gain stability. I applied in MAY and gave all the information they requested and that turned out to be just a run around and waste of my time and energy! I was told I would be eligible and even approved! It is now OCTOBER and I’ve not been able to receive ANY assistance from them. Luckily my dad’s small church was able to help a bit after seeing how I was treated. I do believe my case worker was trying to help but her superiors and those in charge would not. I strongly believe this place and programs should be audited and reviewed to make sure the funds and resources are going to the people in the community.

This organization is very unprofessional and does not help people in vulnerable situations. I reached out for assistance during a crisis and received unprofessional treatment from Victoria. I reported the experience to her supervisor in hopes of a better experience. Instead Daniel emailed me Ms.Knight's financial information another person seeking assistance seeking clarification on her transactions and questioned me about bank accounts that I do not have. Shameful.
