Food Care Center

We were struggling this month and needed some food so we made a decision to visit the food pantry. It’s a blessing that they’re there and able to help those in need. We’re very grateful for the canned goods; however, everything that wasn’t canned was already way past the expiration date and there’s no way for that food to last a month as they suggest. The poultry, produce and bread was either already old or stale or had a day left before expiration. As I stated, we are very thankful, but with the limitation of only being able to get food from them once a month would be a bit more feasible if the goods were actually fresh enough to last the 30 days.

I volunteer here from time to time and I really love it! I love being part of an organization that helps soo many people! Nothing in this world is perfect, but this food care center goes above and beyond every single day to do God's work!

These people help the needey, in Killeen, I'm glad I found this place, and the volenteers are all Very nice.
