How much does the CEO of Feeding America make? Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, CEO, received the $234,928; her reported total compensation in 2021 is $959,665. The second highest payment is $93,971, received by Katherine Fitzgerald, President & COO; her reported total compensation in 2021 is $531,174 (IRS Form 990, Schedule J, Part II). If true, SORRY, I will find another place that uses MY money better than pad the pockets of those in charge !!!

Debra Moss 12:43 PM (0 minutes ago) I have been a donor for several years. For the last two years, my contribution has been through Charity Navigator's Giving Basket. I have attempted to get an acknowledgement or response from you four times. I called their office in mid-February and asked to speak to someone who could explain the lack of acknowledgement for the last two years. The receptionist I spoke to confirmed there was no record of a contribution for either of those two years. I can tell you, my contribution in 2020 was $10,000 because I felt so strongly that the need was immense. These past year years I scaled back to $2000 each year. The receptionist said she would escalate my concern and someone would call me back. After three days and no response, I called again, spoke with the same person and now her answer was I needed to contact Charity Navigator. I asked if I could speak with someone in the Development department and was denied - she said everyone would tell me the same thing. While I thought this was an outrageous demonstration of appalling donor service, I did contact Charity Navigator and Kyle Gardner sent a message on my behalf, with my contact information on March 4. Two and a half weeks later and still no response. I take my charitable giving very seriously which is why I rely on Charity Navigator to help me make good choices. But lack of respect and response to donor services is not something they evaluate. But it is something I evaluate. I have nine charities I have given significant amounts of money to over the years and I have a Trust that directs all of my assets be split among those charities after my death. That number just went down one -- because of your inconceivable policy to ignore a simple donor request for acknowledgement. You should be ashamed of your callous disregard for those who make your work possible. There are many other similar organizations in your sector and it seems just ridiculous that you should be doing business this way. Debra A. Moss
