Literally the worst. They use the fact you have no options against you- kick you out in the cold when I had my note from the doctor that was specifically requested. Management & Claire are condescending bullies.

So disappointed. Terrible experience. Fled DV from another province was insulted, mocked by the most unkind woman.Without the full details and told it was my own doing. I wasn't in danger because I didn't know where the abuser is? There are more than one form of abuse. I'm still in shock Rules and personal opinions, should never outweigh a person's needs.

Wish there was 0 stars. Will kick you out in the middle of the night, with no where to go with your baby for feeding your baby in your bed. (I got caught bedsharing by mistake because i was feeding my baby lying down and accidentally fell asleep due to lack of sleep because everyone is always so loud and disrespectful can hardly sleep plus anxiety and depression which they let you suffer) so I wasn't allowed to feed lying down which is understandable. I was sitting up on my bed feeding, putting my baby to sleep by nursing (only way she'd go to sleep and only spot it worked) but they'd rather my baby have bags under her eyes and have her not sleep than let me put her to bed. Will risk the safety of you and your baby and claim its for the safety of your baby and then have the audacity to ask where you're going pretending to care claiming "it's a child welfare issue" but obviously doesn't care about your child's welfare if they're willing to put you out on the streets. Don't come here unless it's absolutely necessary, choose another shelter. They only pretend to care. This is supposed to be a safe, kind, welcoming place for victims of abuse and their children, and it's everything but that. I am not the only person they did it to and I won't be the last. This is proof the system is not for mothers it’s against.
