As a doctor in mental health, I would never recommend this facility to anyone. From the moment you arrive, receptionists are abrasive and rude. On one instance when arriving early, Catherine sequestered me to the waiting area and would not allow me to use the standard bathroom or go to vending machine which she denied its existence despite being permitted to use for 3 months. The MSW interns that lead the PTIP program are not educated or prepared for the courses whatsoever. Do not know the material- read verbatim but still cannot pronounce simple terms- in addition to invasive, intrusive and treat class like it’s for children which is unnecessarily dragged out. Nothing gained from this experience other than frustration and disappointment in a facility meant to help people who need it most. They are jaded and authoritative which they also seem to get a rise out of. The entire system needs to be reevaluated and revised for any success of its clients.

I would give New Milford FCA zero stars if I could. This place condones child alienation. My children have been going thier for I belive a few years now. Due to the Mother abuse and my kids being placed in foster care this organization wasn't helpful in any way to assure my children were okay. We live over an hour away and because of the mother involvement with abusing my children and being plauged by DCF this organization doesn't care!!! They are in contempt of a Judge orders to reunite or communicate with my son and I therapist for reunification efforts. Famous words its not appropriate or I don't feel comfortable as an excuse from my child's therapist. terrible!! If you're a father, they will avoid your emails and send you something in the mail. 5/10/2023 DCF called and said there was a domestic violence report between my ex and her domestic partner zero information if my children are okay. Once again I get I cant say I don't feel comfortable. WTH does that even mean!! The level of professionalism and hiding information is disgusting. the refusal to work with Grandparents, Siblings and I to fix the Damage DCF has caused should be criminal. Avoid this place at all costs. After being forced to have supervised visitation and having to bring my son, Grandparent's and treated terribly by DCF who uses this place after Hours for DCF supervised visitation which was never needed since I am the parent who hasn't abused my chidren and only wrapped up in this mess because the mother can't seen to not abuse and stay out of DCF Lime Light. This organization treats family just as terrible as DCF does.
