I will start by saying, the therapist I saw Jinna means well, and she did provide some good advice and help me cope with some issues I was experiencing. However, I also felt highly judged by her at certain times, and I felt that based on what I disclosed to her she had a certain view about my issues and was not really unbiased or particularly understanding in situations where I was encountering alot of stress and hurt. The other problems I encountered with her was her insistence that there was multiple confirmations I was attending an appointment. Understand people cancel and thats frustrating, but there was an appointment I confirmed I would attend over text and then didn’t respond to her confirmation email due to not seeing it until the day of. I was all ready for the appointment and she cancelled the session without even letting me know. I found it unprofessional and incredibly frustrating, especially since I did not have issues with cancelling appointments or not attending them. Another issue was her insistence that I couldnt be seen through military onesource due to having a mental health condition in the past. I hadnt been having issues with the condition for 4+ years, and wasnt even seeking help for that specific problem. Was just trying to get help with some communication issues my spouse and I needed to work through. Seems like they were just trying to collect money from us by forcing it to be run through insurance even though they advertise their services free through military onesource. I do think this clinic is helpful for those without insurance or those struggling financially, but the therapists who run it could use some improvement in terms of office processes and modernizing their knowledge and therapy experience.

This office is awful. My son 14 year old is seeing Richard and I have been trying to get records, diagnoses and documentation of the scheduled appointments for 2 months now. I am the non custodial parent and live out of state. So far, since my son has been a client, he has rebelled, stopped talking to myself or any of his family Hernandez has become completely disrespectful. I would NOT recommend anyone attending therapy with this clinic.
