Would leave less stars if I could. This place is only good if you’re homeless and no other factors. This is NOT a place to seek help for domestic violence. This place does NOT accommodate children with disabilities. They encourage you to buy food with food stamps to feed disabled kids with food restrictions or aversions then make you use them to feed others in the shelter. They choose the most profitable people to help even if the investment is creating a revolving door for long term “clients” who never actually get on their feet. It’s like a business that just keeps the director and employees paid well while the city keeps struggling. They’re not fixing anything for anyone. They’re making the problem worse. When a man who’s never been in an abused woman’s shoes owns the nonprofit that’s how you know it is FOR profit.
