Faith Mission of Michiana

I leave this review based solely on my own personal experience with FME. My son who is in his early 20's suffers from severe schizophrenia and due to these conditions he ended up on the streets with no place to go. Faith missions has given him shelter, food, clothing, and are even helping him obtain disability income. I'm so impressed with the structure of this organization and how they run it. They even have tiny homes in back they use as transitional living along with help obtaining employment. The security there is tight so there is a feeling of safety as well. They have helped my son when nobody else would or could. God willing one day I will be able to donate to FME. If you have the inclination to do so, I highly recommend donating to this worthy cause.

As difficult as life can get sometimes these people care alot and will help you achieve your goals and them some if you have the drive to believe in yourself.

I had some people that needed help and they never returned any of the messages people left for them. So, I myself thought I would check into the allegations, and it was all true!! The people that answer the phone are rude, they send you to a random voicemail with no name and that person does not return phone messages. I had heard it is all about politics and not faith. They won’t be seeing any donations from me ever again or hopefully anyone else I can get the word out too. And hopefully others read this and donate to a church that actually helps people and doesn’t ignore them. It’s all about who you know in order to get housing help from these over paid case managers that don’t return calls. The board of directors need to pay attention to how the monies are allocated and who is helped. Maybe the state needs to do an audit.
