Turned me away because I didn't have a state ID even though I have alternate forms of ID including a valid USA passport.

It's a homeless shelter, better than some.

I've been going to fairhaven for 10 years, off and on. So much has changed and sad to say, in my opinion not for the better. It just seems like now the staff are just going through the motions and don't really care. It's like a job to them and not for service. Back when Mr and Mrs. Hammer's ran it, you could see and feel they cared. Also Scott and Mark. Now it seems they're just doing a job and don't really have anything to give except 8 hours. I know things change and so do staff but it's nothing like it used to be!! So seemingly not caring or passionate about what they do. I'm not saying current staff are bad people but again, just there for the paycheck..
