Ennis center had very inexperienced workers and push adoptive practices on disabled single mothers ..this is very disturbing they do nothing to help the mom reunite with the child infact in court they lie and slander families to take kids and put them up for adoption by targeting the mothers challenges.very disturbing practices

This center is all about money and not the children that the center is responsible for , they are only money to them . They have a timeline on trying to get children adopted because the center gets money when they get children adopted out . If you don’t agree to sign paperwork saying you want to adopt right away and that you need a little more time to make sure it’s what the children want and your family want's because of some behavioral issues you were trying to get the child help for but they don’t want to hear that because they are on a timeline , so they call around to other foster parents to see if they might take them for adoption , not caring that the children and the family have already bonded and take them from your home, screaming and crying . I Thought it was supposed to be about the children and what’s best for them ? But it looks like it’s not, it’s more about money and timelines than anything else . I personally think the system is broken and needs to be fixed , but I see a hahaha good luck on that . Extremely disheartening and sad for the children that have already had a terrible and probably traumatic start in life to keep being moved around and torn from loving families that do want them . This center and all centers that deal with these children need to work with people that want them , I’m just having a hard time wrapping my head around all that has happened in front of my eyes with how this center deals with these children and families that foster them, they Basically treat fostering and adoption like a business deal , something’s wrong with that ! Well I said my peace but probably won’t have any after this experience , so better luck to all the families out there that deal with the foster system. 😪
