I went to the adoptive mom’s retreat for the first time. What a blessing to my soul. I met other adoptive moms that became instant friends because we share the same triumphs, struggles, fears, trauma with our kids. We get it!
The Embrace Staff loved on us like we (the adoptive moms) were a part of their families. They were so cheerful and giving.
The speaker, Stef Loveland was amazing. She was so relatable. I was grateful to learn more about grief and that grief doesn’t have to include a physical death.
I am beyond grateful for my time away at the retreat. I left feeling and knowing I was not alone. I have an army of woman that are praying and rooting for my family.
I am looking forward to the other activities Embrace does to support foster and adoptive families. SO GRATEFUL!

Enjoyed one of the best weekends of the year…Embrace Texas’ Moms Retreat!!! Spent this past weekend with 40+ other foster/adopt moms… my tribe!!!❤️ We bonded, partied, celebrated, and got silly as we centered our focus on God and each leaned into OUR own stories. Mom Prom, Silent Disco, after prom Karaoke, jacuzzi time, naps, yummy meals, the most beautiful environment, and the ever so eloquent Stef Loveland allowing Jesus to speak truth and life through her…Embrace Texas, you are family and you always fill my cup!! So grateful for this community, these friendships and the incredible unwavering support!❤️🙏🏼
