Lawrence Kovacs III rated 5 3 weeks ago Recently have been trying to re-connect more spiritually. I have been to a few Christian churches as a recovering Catholic and this one is my favorite and will the one I call 'my church' each Sunday.
The pastors are incredible. This is not like some other Christian churches that are an offshoot combination of Catholic and Lutheran practices. Central Christian is about preaching the word, educating others about faith and connecting a community.

Trish Se rated 5 3 months ago Love this church. This is not just a Sunday church. They have small groups, outreach, prayer groups. And they teach the bible. Not what I want to hear. But, what we need to hear. This bible based teaching is hard to find. I am so happy they have come into my life. |
G. Janvier rated 5 11 months ago My wife and I were members of Central Assembly in the early 80's till about 2000. We eventually retired to Myrtle Beach, SC. While visiting my son who is still living in Sparks ,MD. I called my best friend who was an original founding member of the church but had moved to Annapolis, MD and asked if he was willing to visit on Easter Sunday. We both enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new members. Many of the old members that we knew were gone but it was good to see the church still preaching the Gospel and celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus. The pastors son was preaching that day and he was very good. Someone I watched grow up and become a man of God. His insight and message was strong for an Easter sermon, but I'm still a fan of his father. A man that I have seen filled with the Holy Spirit and the power of God many times. A man the Lord put in my life for maturing and spiritual growth. I have learned a lot there at Central and look forward to visiting again in the future. If you are looking for a church to visit look no further. I'm sure you will find Central a friendly and welcoming home.
