I have to say that DVRC is probably hands down the best resource in Albuquerque, regarding domestic violent issues. Case manager, Hiroko helped me in my situation and was able to help me into a safe place. If it was not for her, I'm not sure where I would be at the moment. Thank you Hiroko!!!

If I could give it a 0 I would. Absolutely terrible business. Especially caseworker hiroko. Avoid that one like the plague. If you need accommodation forget about it because you won't get it. They also wrote the wrong address on my order for protection and I had to refill out and submit the whole thing. 0/10 don't recommend.

I have been serviced by this agency 3 times in the past 11 years. They have always treated me with dignity and respect and have been very helpful in getting me connected to pertinent services. I'm grateful to have a resource like this, who services victims of domestic abuse. Thank you, DVRC!

They actually hung up on me. I need help right now. I was waiting for a couple of phone numbers for a place to keep my dogs and myself. She kept on talking and I never got any numbers. She HUNG UP ON ME. I called back and they won't answer now. They left me in an immediate bad situation and I don't have any help at all. They're not a resource at all. Thanks

Their website makes it sound like they have so many resources available to help people in domestic violence situations. But when you ask for help they just tell you to try going to a shelter. And shelters are all full and not allowing new people anyway. If you ask about the other services listed on their website, such as advocacy, case management, etc., they say “oh we’re really backed up with that right now so you probably should look elsewhere”. Unbelievably callous.
