They dont give you enough time to find a stable place to live. They kick you out after 60 days not caring if you have a place to go or not.

As an attorney who regularly works with organizations like DVIS to advocate for victims of domestic violence, every other practitioner in Tulsa and the surrounding areas should know this is not a safe place to refer a client if they are not a perfect victim of domestic violence with clear evidence to support their claims. My client was kicked out of housing here with nowhere else to go while suffering a mental health crisis and while being bound to a wheelchair. I was promised a call back this evening by Sam, the Vice President of Housing, who victim blamed my client on our initial call. When I called back an hour later for an update, I was told Sam had left for the rest of the day and that I could not contact her directly. I was told my number would be given to her and that no guarantees could be made that I would receive a call this evening as originally promised. I was told no one else was available to help my client in crisis. I was told that I could not remain on the crisis line even though my client is in active crisis. I would discourage anyone from donating to this organization. The staff here are not appropriately trained to work with other advocates to overcome mental health barriers to safe housing for victims of domestic violence. I am appalled at the way this situation has been handled. I am appalled that these so called advocates care so little. I will not remove this review until my concerns are addressed appropriately.

Tho we are happy to have moved to our apartment me and my husband are beyond thankful and grateful for all the staff and advocates they do beyond the most to help us reach our goals thank you to each and everyone of you that helped us achieve and accomplish so much within the time we were there for the countless time you guys spent talking and hearing us out
