Taking away someone’s mobility aid is a hate crime. It can be classified as such since none of the other patients were treated like me. They treated me like any other patient until they found out I was disabled and need assistance. They refused to assist someone in crisis because they were not calm. If you have any condition or issue that keeps you from being calm 24/7 then this is not the facility for you. Admitted myself and asked for help numerous times and was ignored. I am semi-ambulatory and when my chronic pain flares up it can be so bad that I can’t move my legs. They ignored me asking for help for 5+ hours on the first morning and treated me sub human from then on. On the second day there, they took my mobility aid (wheelchair) away and made me drag myself on the ground in front of the other patients and the staff. On both days They took away my food when I wasn’t done eating, they didn’t give me my meds, they wouldn’t even give me an over the counter allergy med that I had brought with me. I had called back to see if there were any changes and they essentially said that because I wasn’t perfectly calm and happy that they weren’t going to help me.

I called this morning and spoke to Brandi. Such a relief to finally talk with someone whom I felt comfortable doing so. She said (abt 8am) that she would call me in abt 16 hours (abt Midnight) to check on me. About 17 hours later, I called and asked to please speak to Brandi. Jessica answered and said Brandi was there. But it was "against policy" to switch calls. Someone is "seriously struggling" and simply asks to talk to a person that they feel comfortable with....Does that sound like rational truth to anyone?? I waited abt 7 minutes and called back; only to hear Jessica repeat the same lie/ nonsense. I simply said to Jessica that, "Not all guy are creeps. I just wanted to talk with someone with whom I felt comfortable." Making unsubstantiated guesses on someone's well being And assumptions about a caller's safety is potentially unwise. Return calls when promised And transfer a call when it will help someone. InCompass lies, displays immaturity, and is unprofessional. How is transferring a phone call a "safety concern for staff" ??

The staff were great! They made me feel welcomed, included and understood. I would 9/10 recommend to anyone struggling.
