Do not call. Monday before Christmas I picked up my Uncle's remains, and his family photos, lots of them. To be clear I told her I had lost ALL immediate family members including my son within the last 5 years, this year I lost my husband and maternal Uncle within 5 months of each other. Unfortunately as I was explaining the reason for my call I was steadily crying as memories flooded around me. I had to pull life support from my mother and husband, I was not able to say goodbye to either one before pulling life. Do you have any idea how difficult something like this? I have Complex PTSD steming from childhood into adulthood trauma. I did call and terminated our call after hearing how do I identify? What is my sex? What's your age, your religion and location? Are you sure you are in Hillsborough? Your zip code is in Hillsborough and Pasco. No, I am lying, I have zero clue what County I live in. Come on now. I asked what does any of these questions have to do with what I am going through. Its our policy. We need to collect demographics before we can help. Wait a minute. Someone calls you clearly in distress and crying, and you are more interested in demographics than the human being reaching out? I told her I reached out BECAUSE I needed human contact, no I do not have thoughts of hurting myself. Lady, I hope YOU never have to endure any of this or find someone as callous as you when a person reaches out.

Just want to give thanks to God for The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay...the organization is selfless, touching myself and my 2 year old daughter as we recover from hurricanes Helene and Milton during this holiday season...their kindness is overwhelming...thank you so much
