I have been attending this church since late 2010. I got saved here as a result of a course called "Introduction to God." Covenant Life is always uplifting and God is glorified. In season, they will have Sunday school classes. I highly recommend taking classes b/c they are a great tool to help you grow and keep you encouraged. They are also the best and fastest way to meet new people. If you should decide to visit Covenant Life, I hope to have the pleasure of meeting you.

Attended a meeting with an organization that is renting space. The building is lovely.

I grew up in Covenant Life, taking part in their children’s/youth ministry programs and was a formal member of the church during my early twenties. My experience here: the pastors at this church were overly focused on the image of the church instead of taking steps to do the right thing and be the hands and feet of Jesus. For years, any hope for positive change would be laid at the feet of the elders and a shadow group called the “Financial Advisory Committee”, where it would likely be stomped out in favor of maintaining a status quo that thrived on regressive beliefs that often were informed not by the spirit of scripture, but fear. Any pastors who spoke out against these practices didn’t remain for much longer. The church has since greatly diminished in size due to a couple different splits that were born of a variety of factors. Most of the pastors have since moved on to other churches or other vocations. I hope that being brought low has instilled a humility in CLC that leads them to be a more positive force in the community, truly being an image-bearer of Christ and being willing to speak out on controversial issues for good/take stances for justice.

Key word for this day and age: sound doctrine. This is not a church for people who are looking for a special revelation outside of God’s word, nor for “feelings “ experience. God’s word is offensive, and loving at the same time. I highly recommend this church if you really want to know more about who God is, and the gospel not water down. My prayer is that God will keep us firm in the faith and grace. Jesus IS THE ONLY WAY.

My husband and I recently (5 months) became members here and we have been loving it! The doctrine is sound (most important) and it is Holy Spirit led without being too over the top, if you know what I mean. Pastor PJ Smith is the real deal! He is on fire for the Lord and he is a very loving, kind man who not only cares about who’s attending on sundays but also is missionary minded (locally and to the ends of the earth). He’s not afraid to preach the unwavering truth of the Word of God but is extremely gentle in his approach. I’ll stop here but there are many other great things about this place as well!
