please do not bring your children here or even refer anyone to this facility. The staff here are unprofessional and undertrained. They treat you like animals and do not keep your personal business confidential. They pick favorites amongst the residents and they stir up mess within the unit. I was assaulted by a staff member who still works there. She locked me in the office and physically assaulted me. I honestly don’t understand how this place has 4 stars and why it is still open. The male staff are completely inappropriate and I was constantly harassed by male staff and residents. Over all this place is a safety mental and physical health hazard. The definitely need to do some renovations in this program.

I will have to come stay with my two babies. I just want to know if they will keep is in our own room or if we will be sharing a room with others

shelter for abused/trafficked/runaway young adults, a little strict but their rules help to establish savings and a daily routine. a ‘doctor’s office’ provided by a nearby university, hot showers, a bunk bed in a room you typically share with others, food, friends, a donation closet, a program for babies and kids, some intolerable staff, some decent and kind ones as well, a dorm-like program for those who have savings and are compliant, quiet, and mind their own business. from what i heard from a friend after my stay, but did not experience, once you land in said program and are ready to get out, they will help you look for an apartment, furnish it, and pay your rent for a year or so, when you are discharged you allegedly receive the 80% of your checks you’ve been forcibly saving, (which i did) i did not hear of or witness any child exploitation during my stay, i co-signed a duplex lease myself and was in and out in under 5 months. you can play the “system” and get free time outside, use/keep more money that you’ve made (than they’d like you to) they have decent resources for employment and health opportunities and all in all it was better than sleeping behind the mall or hiding from the cops and attempting to sleep on park benches during the winter. a girl that slept in the bunk under me did steal my slides, don’t leave anything you deem valuable “out” take them with you wherever you go, the staff 9 times out of 10 will not care to look into it too far and the cameras do not see what happens in bedrooms. and you frequently get free joes if you’re into that and are in ‘good behavior’
