Saved my life tbh. If this facility wasn't in Anchorage I would've froze to death in the first couple days of my arrival to the city. Wonderful people, plentiful resources, great facility, and made some good memories.

They have picky staff, some are bad and need to be trained better, my girlfriend was told she was on break for a few days and lied to us, I gave up my room to stay and support her because they kicked her out and was discreet about it after an incident.

i stayed here for a while, Staff are great in my opinion. there's off and on bullying due to other youth, but it's a "in the moment" thing and everybody (youth/residents) are good again and repeat. when I first went there looking back at it now, I wish staff did introduce new youth sort of like a little group so they'll be comfortable and get it going, it was difficult for me to even socialize due to the other youth being judgemental and they didnt get to know me, but made a lot of difficulty around what theyve seen, unfortunately. anyway I wouldn't mind being here again, but it wouldnt be my preference unless I had no other choice.
