Jesus changed my life but I don't believe it would have been possible if it weren't for the Cookeville rescue mission. I love you guys!!!

I stayed here for 3 weeks as a homeless single father and they were the only place to have a room specifically for single fathers. I'm grateful they let me stay here and helped me with everything I needed for me and my kid. They helped me out with clothes and food, gave me information about jobs and other places to help me out for transportation and places to apply to live at. They were understanding of my situation and were here to help with anything they could. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone else that's looking for help, whether you're just homeless or have mental or drug issues, they have everything here that can help you. It's run by people who have been there and done that, they know how to help you with whatever situation you might be in, you just have to be willing to accept the help and willing to do better for yourself.

I LOVE JESUS CHRIST, THEY FAILED ME FOR A DRUG I DIDNT DO SCAMTEST, EVEN FAILED FOR ALCOHOL I HADNT HAD ANY ALCOHOL IN YEARS(SAVE 3ISH TIMES I DONT KNOW) NOR DRUGS!!! ZERO!!! THEY DIDNT APOLOGIZE OR ANYTHING JUST THREW ME OUT AND IMMEDIATELY QENT TO ER BROUGHT BACK A REAL TEST ALCOHOL NEGATIVE BUT THE ER DID NOT TEST FOR MDMA THIS DRUG THEY FAILED ME FOR!!!! I AM BORN AGAIN AND DONT DO DRUGS!!!! I WENT TO WORK THAT DAY DRANK A WHOLE BOTTLE OF WELCHES GRAPE JUICE FROM DOLLAR GENERAL FOR VITAMIN C WASNT FEELING GOOD, WATER, AND PUT VEGETABLE OIL, HIMALAYAN SALT FROM DOLLAR TREE, AND CANE SUGAR FROM WALMART THE GREEN BAG MIXED IN PEANUTS FROM DG. THAT WAS THE ONLY THINGS I INGESTED THAT DAY AND FAILED FOR MDMA AND ALCOHOL!!!! I WASNT THE ONLY ONE SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE HAD NO ALCOHOL FAILED FOR ALCOHOL AND OTHERS W MDMA THE GUY NEXT TO ME SAID WHEN HE CAME IN HE FAILED FOR OPIATES, HE KNEW THAT, BUT THAT HE FAILED FOR MDMA AND HE HAD NEVER DONE THAT. ANOTHER MAD FAILED FOR IT TOO. NONE OF US HAD IT AND NOT EVEN THE DRUGGIES KNEW WHERE TO EVEN GET THE STUFF!! I ASKED "IS THERE MDMA GOING AROUND IN THE AIR??" NO ONE EVEN KNEW WHERE THAT WAS. YOU ARE ALLOWED TO FAIL UPON ENTRY BUT NOT DURING STAY THIS WAS DURING STAY SO IT WAS AWFUL. ALL I DID WAS GO TO WORK!!! GREAT PLACE OTHERWISE... I HAD TO GO THERE WHEN FAMILY WAS SERVING SATAN. CHAPEL AND CHURCH ARE GREAT THERE!!!
