I just received tremendous help from case manager Judy, I practically got a Simon-Peter miracle from the Elgin Community Crisis Center (for those who study the Bible will know what I mean). Thank you so much for your help again and god bless 🙏

The attitude amongst some needs improvement. Im treated almost like Dirt or the attitude is unwelcoming to say the least. I feel as though the distribution of Food is snacks and to most seemly its pretty heavy or is distributed more t other groups in need . The mood or attitude is definitely shady from some staff or very crappy. You have to be there exactly by 9am not 15 mins before 9 am or you'll be told perhaps to come back regardless of the situation . Its unethical attitudes ,stressful unease place or from the things Ive experienced not all are treated the same and Ive been asked or treated beyond gracious at other similar places. New rules or hogwash . Ive been accused of being demanding well you're given tomato soup or condensed soup for a cat to eat I think is poor. Alot of can foods have a lot of salt. Ive been told 15 mins top for me and that's all Im allowed regardless. A meeting was done unsure by whom not alot of information .. I dont agree with it !

I experienced domestic violence. I asked for help at a crisis center and they didn't help me. They treated me contemptuously. When I complained that they weren't helping me, they said that if I didn't feel like it, I should go somewhere else. This was told to me by a therapist, a lady who works at the desk, who is equally rude. I will never go back there.
